The Current - November

Yesterday I was scraping ice off the van windscreen at 7am, ice!  That must mean Winter is around the corner and with hundreds of golden leaves piling up and the smell of fireworks everywhere, it's definitely Autumn.

We have some super exciting news on the horizon, which I can give a little sneak insight into!  We are collaborating with a sustainable wine company to create a new batch of seaweed t-shirts, and it gets better... We are going to be manufacturing everything here in the UK.  More details about that coming soon!

Even more seaweed news, if you have ever listened to our Podcast Ethical Pages, you may have heard my chat with Charlie Cadin the inventor of the seaweed surfboard.  A surfboard which is made from seaweed, which is the first truly sustainable and biodegradable surfboard ever made and could pave the way to a non toxic surfboard industry.  All being well (seaweed and conditions dependent) we are super excited to be collaborating with Charlie to create a couple of boards and hopefully some more to be commercially available. If you are interested in one of these boards please get in touch.

We have some great gift ideas for Christmas as we try to expand our product range.  This includes new illustrated maps by Nana Joss, available on sustainable archival bamboo paper, either printed or framed.
