The Current - September Plans
So the Summer holidays are nearly over, some kids are back at school already and there's that different feel in the air. The T-shirt sales have tapered off as we look to launch our new range of hoodies and sweaters for Autumn.
We enjoyed a trip to the Shetland Islands and Northumberland over the Summer, watch out for a full blog about our trip to the Shetlands this month.
We totally love the Autumn, the sea is still warm and most surf spots start to see good swell and the odd storm might start to arrive too. At time of writing there's a good chance for a super long distant swell from Hurricane Larry, which could arrive at surf spots in the UK next week. We also look likely to have some nice warm weather return to the UK which will be welcome as August struggled with sunshine!
So what are our September plans? Read below;
We have launched our women's hoodies, made from organic cotton and recycled polyester. We will launch the unisex range next week!
We are organising a Surfers Against Sewage beach clean (well an inland river clean) on the first weekend of October with our local friends Elov and Encore Recruitment.
US based carbon sequester warriors Pull to Refresh have invited Adam to come as a guest on their Clubhouse Room on Sunday 8pm BST / 12 noon Pacific time. If you have not heard of Clubhouse, it's a relatively new social media platform where people can chat and hold virtual rooms for discussion and debate.
We love how mobilised our local community is, Macclesfield has seen some amazing folk get together and make new projects happen all to help solve the climate crisis. We have been invited to have a stall as Macc Green Fest, come down and learn what people are doing to make a difference.
Our Print on Demand service is now officially launched. Read our previous blog to learn more.
