Unisex 'Sail Clean' Finsulate SeaBlend® T-shirt SBUGFIN

Our collaboration T-shirt with Finsulate UK, to raise awareness of plastic pollution that is created from the bottom of boats and ships hulls.

There is a little publicised, but a major issue with most commercial and pleasure craft across our oceans and waterways - they use extremely toxic antifouling paint on the hulls, these leach and pollute water with biocides and harmful metals. This also contributes some 100 million litres of paint spilled per year, 20% of the total plastic soup in our oceans. Finsulate wants to make a change, and offers a long term antifouling wrap which is completely non leaching and clean.

Inland Sea and Finsulate UK have partnered because we share the same values; to protect the environment and make more sustainable choices. The T-Shirt design draws attention to this issue lurking below the waterline, and asks we 'Sail Clean' with a 'bottom to be proud of'!

SeaBlend® is a unique blend of Carbon Neutral Australian 'Super' Cotton and SeaCell™ to create the first fabric of its kind to be manufactured in the UK. Our yarns are blended and spun at our local mill, English Fine Cottons in Manchester, knitted into fabric and dyed in Leicester and then sewn into garments back here in Manchester.
